Senator Obama Vs. Senator Clinton
Senator Clinton sharply criticized Senator Obama for the first time yesterday as inexperienced on national security, calling him “irresponsible and frankly naive” for saying he would be willing to meet without preconditions with leaders of Iran, North Korea and three other nations during his first year as president. Obama responded swiftly, saying the Clinton campaign was concocting a “fabricated controversy.” He also contended that Clinton’s skeptical view of such meetings was similar to that of President Bush. I want to know what you think on the subject, it is an open debate for anyone who will take it up.

Obama is too black. Clinton is too feminine. Therefore, this controversy is irrelevant.
But seriously, while I think it's fine for parties to have healthy debate within, the Democrats should be able to manifest some form of unity among their ranks.
i don't think Obama is too "black" or Clinton is too "feminine", but i will respond to your comment. i agree that the Democratic party should have some form of unity, and in that sense, i do think that there was some controversy on the part of Hillary Clinton.
While her response on Monday may or may not have been "red meat" for the Republican party, i think she went too far in calling Obama's response a rookie mistake. He was emphasizing the mistakes this administration has made in not having talks with "hostile" foreign countries(i put quotes because that is this administration's term, not mine. Obama didn't promise to meet with these countries, but merely answered the question and said he would be willing.
Hillary Clinton previously critisized the Bush Administration's diplomatic strategies, but now she almost supports them, saying she doesn't want to be used for "propaganda" purposes". Her response didn't seem presidential to me, just cunningly political.
I think Hilary's campaign is trying to create an unnecessary disparity between her and Barack Obama, even though she once professed views similar to the Illinois Senator. I'm not sure this is the kind of president the people will want.
That bit was sarcastic.
